My name is Jane Johnson, and this is my husband, Robert Johnson. We have been with Cheltenham IFA for about 10 years and Tara Wood is our adviser.

I had three pensions on the go and was retiring in only five years, so needed to get them sorted out so that we knew exactly where we were at. I needed some proper financial advice and to maximise the potential of the pensions so that when it came to retiring, everything would be sorted out and ready to move forward.
Tara’s very approachable, professional and certainly on a similar level to us. There was nothing that made you feel inferior in any way. She was absolutely superb when we met, and is to this day.

She reigns me in because, Bob’s the steady one, I’m not. It is nice to know I can go in there and she’ll say “What are you doing? What are you going to do this year?” If I say “I’m off to Hawaii, or somewhere else” she’ll tell me to slow down. I love the way she pulls you back so that you have a secure future. You don’t know how many years you’re going to live and so you’ve got to be sensible.
